慢性非传染性疾病预防控制中心是中国疾病预防控制中心领导下的国家级慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制专业机构，是全国慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制业务技术指导中心。其主要职能是：

一、

开展有关慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制的政策研究，为政府提供决策咨询。 |
|
二、
|
建立国家慢性非传染性疾病和伤害监测系统，开展全国性居民健康状况及重大慢性非传染性疾病和伤害专题调查，掌握慢性非传染性疾病和伤害流行状况和发展趋势，综合分析、利用有关信息，并定期公布。 |
|
三、
|
制订全国慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制计划和方案，并组织、督导实施。
|
|
四、
|
确定慢性非传染性疾病和伤害的优先防治领域，制订预防控制的策略、措施以及各类工作和技术规范。
|
|
五、
|
对省级慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制工作进行业务指导和人员培训，并提供其他技术支持。
|
|
六、
|
对全国慢性非传染性疾病和伤害预防控制工作进行质量控制和效果评价。

七、
|
开展有关慢性非传染性疾病和伤害防治策略、措施以及方法和技术的研究与评价，对有效的加以推广应用。

The
Responsibility of National Center for Chronic and Noncommunicable
Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease
Control and Prevention：
- Conducting
policy study on noncommunicable disease (NCD) and injury
control and prevention, providing policy consultation for
government.
- Establishing
a national surveillance system for NCD and injury control
and prevention, conducting surveillance and survey on related
disease and influencing factors, mastering epidemic status
and developing trend of NCD and injury, analyzing and utilizing
related information comprehensively, and declaring periodically.
- Developing
national plans and schemes on NCD and injury control and
prevention, organizing and supervising the implementation.
- Identifying
priorities of NCD and injury control and prevention, formulating
strategies, measurement and working and technical schemes
for prevention and control.
- Conducting
technical guidance and training on NCD and injury control
and prevention to provincial staff, providing other technical
support.
- Providing
national quality control and effect evaluation on NCD and
injury prevention and control.
- Conducting
research and evaluation of strategies, measurement, methodology
and technology on NCD and injury prevention and control,
extend and apply effective experience.
- Establishing
and developing international cooperation and exchange on
on NCD and injury prevention and control.
